Q1 Crowd (3-5 men murmuring among themselves) How can he say that? How can he forgive sins? Only God can forgive sins! Surely he doesn't know what he is saying! He risks the wrath of God! He has no authority to say such things! Who is this who even forgives sins?

Q1 Crowd (5-10 Men & Women, randomly) – Phrases like: Praise God! Ah! He can see! It’s a miracle! His eyes are healed! Praise the Lord! Amazing! How wonderful!

Q1 Crowd (5-10 Men & Women, randomly)– Phrases like: Stop pushing. Get out of my way. It’s Jesus of Nazareth! I want to see Him. Don’t push! There He is! Look out. It’s the miracle worker!

Q1 Crowd Caesar!

Q1 Crowd (3-4 men, sorrowfully) Lord is it I? Which of us is it that should do this thing? Of whom does He speak? I would not do such a thing! It could not be me! No Lord, not me! Never! Surely not I, Lord?

Q1 Crowd (3-5 men exclaiming) What further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy. What do you think? He thinks he is God! Blasphemy! He has condemned himself! I've never heard such blasphemy! The Messiah would not be a mere carpenter.

Q1 Crowd (3-5 men murmuring) Yes, away with Him. Get Him out of here. Take Him to Pilate, he'll know what to do. The Romans can deal with Him now. Take the blasphemer away! Yes, let Pilate punish him for his crimes.

Q1 Crowd (4-6 men) Barabbas.

Q1 Crowd (5-7 men and women, loud shouts, insistently demanding) Crucify Him! Kill Jesus! We want Jesus dead! Crucify the blasphemer! He's not our king! We have no king but Caesar! Take him away! Away with him! Blasphemer! Kill Him! He deserves death! Justice must be done! Let his blood be on us and on our children!
